Alyson Tucker is a local St.Simons Island, GA artist who has had a passion for art since she was a little girl. Her greatest inspiration to create through painting comes from a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Her own style emerges in favorite local sights, still life’s, landscapes and portraits. She has painted in oils for thirty years but in the past several years has expressed her creativity in acrylics and watercolors. Whether she paints on furniture, walls, old windows or canvas, it’s for sure, you’ll find her painting on something!  Her work is currently being displayed at local art galleries and art centers throughout the Golden Isles. Alyson is an Atlanta native who migrated to Saint Simons Island in the early 1970’s and is still living there. When she is not painting, she enjoys celebrating life with her husband, children and grandchildren.
